Project Engineer: Automation Manufacturing (Rugby)

Having recently won contracts with leading blue chip clients we have an urgent permanent full-time vacancy for a Project Engineer working on industrial automation systems and new manufacturing lines. Candidates should ideally have the following skills Project Engineering Automation Systems Manufacturing engineering Familiar with lean manufacturing principles Multi-discipline experience with mechanical systems controls and electrical although the role will not require hands-on installation works Cad Ideally having experience of 3d Cad systems (such as Solidworks) and 2d AutoCAD. This is not a design role but ability to edit layouts update drawings or create drawings of minor parts would be advantageous Ms Project and project planning Experience dealing with suppliers and writing detailed specifications for purchasing Ideally experience leading small teams of engineers on design installation projects or suitably enthusiastic about progressing to a management role Management of project budgets The role will be customer facing hence the candidate will need to be well presented articulate and comfortable in dealing with new people. Package £25 30K depending on experience plus company van laptop and mobile. The role will require traveling to customer sites all over the UK and frequent overnight stays there is also the possibility of some overseas travel.
