Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Lymington)

Our client based in Lymington has a requirement for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to provide cover to their permanent maintenance team for a 4-week period at the start of July. The role will require the successful candidate to carry out a variety of reactive maintenance jobs primarily mechanical and electrical repairs to production machinery to ensure that production down time is kept to a minimum. Applicants must have strong electrical and mechanical maintenance fitting skills and must be from a fast paced manufacturing background. Candidates will also need to be able to work alone adapt to new environments quickly and have proven problem solving skills. Our client is looking for a start date of Monday 11th July 2011 when the successful candidate will get a 1-week handover on a day shift with the maintenance team. However you will then be expected to transfer to the 1400 pm till 2200 pm shift from week 2 onwards. We can offer a pay rate of £12.00 per hour.
