Loaders Required Immediate Start (Rumney Area)

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are able to work under pressure in an established and busy Laundry. The ability to work both Day and Night shifts on a Rota is essential. You must be able to communicate well as part of a Team and therefore have a good understanding of the English language. You must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail. The rate of pay is £6.43 per hour with an annual pay review. You will be paid weekly. Currently working 12 hour shifts however this may be reduced in the near future to approx 9 hours. Job Description Job Purpose To provide an efficient and reliable service to Drivers and to support the Management and Production Teams. Key Competencies To take a full and active role in the overall management and operation of the Loading Department To accurately load company vehicles in line with daily requirements and paperwork in a timely manner to prevent Drivers leaving late To assist in unloading company vehicles and emptying cages of linen To move Linen cages safely around the Production facility To maintain the standards of the Loading Storage area storing and tidying up linen where necessary to meet Health and Safety requirements To manoeuvre company vehicles around Company premises as and when required ensuring you are qualified to do so Liaise with the Distribution and Transport Managers and Engineers to ensure any required maintenance is minimised to enable smooth operation of the Department Deal with other day-to-day housekeeping issues across the Department The above list is not intended to be exhaustive and all members of staff are required to show a willingness to be flexible in helping the smooth running of the Company s operations.
