Mortgage Broker Administrator Internship (City)

Capital Fortune is an innovative young mortgage and insurance brokerage based in the City. The company regularly wins national industry accolades and have just been shortlisted for the British Mortgage Awards 2011 in the category of Prime Mortgage Broker. We are further expanding our client base and seek a high calibre Mortgage Administrator Intern to assist our Mortgage and Protection Brokers with client liaison and case processing. The successful candidate will receive in-depth training and the companys full commitment to develop their professional skills. Full training on mortgages insurance case handling and the full administrative function will be provided. Our Interns have previously been offered employment within the Company and others have gone on to full employment within the financial services industry. Successful Interns will remain with us for a minimum of 12 weeks and will receive full expenses for travel and lunch up to a maximum £100 per week. This is a unique opportunity to work with a Company who have appeared on Bbc Newsnight and are regularly quoted in the trade press. Capital Fortune boast numerous clients including Hollywood movie stars contestants from Big Brother Come Dancing pop singers comedians Tv actors including and presenters as well as High Court Judges. The role will involve the following Speaking with lenders and insurers to obtain updates on the progress of mortgage and insurance applications Meeting and greeting clients within the office Contacting clients to give regular case updates Assisting the Mortgage and Protection Broker with case administration and paperwork such as scanning and photocopying Assisting in the completion of client applications for Mortgages and Insurance Although experience is not essential applicants will be expected to have an understanding of the Financial Services industry and ideally have a qualification in finance accounting economics or other associated subjects. As there will be a significant amount of contact with clients and third parties it is essential that applicants have an excellent telephone manner as well as good presentation skills. Full training on mortgages insurance and case handling will be given to the successful candidate on over a series of weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity to join and gain experience within a vibrant City brokerage. For the right candidate the 12 week Internship could lead to a full-time employed role within the company.
