Web Developer Permanent Salary Negotiable Based on experience. Location Harrogate North Yorkshire United Kingdom. Essentials Must work in house in out Harrogate office. Description of role First of all thank you for taking the time to look at our role. Undertaking this role you will be working as part of a small development team located in the heart of Harrogate North Yorkshire. We are looking for the right candidate who will compliment our current team of developers. You should have knowledge and experience to fill in the gaps and complete our Web Team. You will be working on a number of different projects which when acquired will need a number of different skills based on the project specification ranging from static Html sites to fully features e-commerce sites. Experience Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role should have achieved at least a 21 in a Web Development related honours degree or have a strong background working in a web development related role. Essential Skills Following are a list of the essential skills Experience working to deadlines and sticking to project milestones. The ability to work in-house along side our current developers in our office in the centre of Harrogate. The desire to learn new technical skills if needed for a project. The desire to stay up to date with current development practices. To lease with clients when needed and discuss projects. Technical skills Must have a working knowledge of current web development practices including Php 5 Understand and work with code created in a Framework. PhpmyAdmin MySQL 5 Wordpress 3 Experience developing custom templates Wordpress 3 Plugin development. Working Knowledge of other content management systems such as Joomla or Drupal would be an advantage. Html 4 Xhtml 1.0 with the drive to learn Html 5 Css 2 with the drive to learn Css3 Cross browser compatible coding understanding the problems encountered in different browsers Jquery Javascript Ability to create custom Adobe Flash applications. A Working knowledge website Seo would also be desired. Experience Although no experience is essential for this role we do expect that you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the above technical skills either through a work trail or past work.
