Ict junior technician apprentice required for prestigious school No previous experience required (North West London)

We are a school based in North West London renowned for providing high quality education in Hertfordshire and which has recently received an impressive inspection from Ofsted. We currently seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior It support Technician to provide first line support for hardware software and user issues. Throughout your day your duties will include -Providing first line Ict support to the school always being available by phone email etc during working hours. You will be expected to respond quickly in an appropriate manner to all requests for assistance or support Support troubleshoot and maintain basic hardware infrastructure software and operating systems Setup new equipment (e.g. Pc s laptops printers projectors visualisers and others Proactively check and ensure devices are fully operational Assist with day to day running of the school network including tasks such as but not limited to changing toner and ink cartridges backups cabling software installation hardware installation asset register and upgrades. Ensuring server rooms and office are kept clean and tidy including disposal of boxes etc Assisting with any reasonable technical or administrative It related task that may be requested. You ll be someone who really enjoys taking computers or It kit apart to fix it or just discover how things work. For the right person there is a wealth of opportunity to advance your skills and work with a wide range of technologies. Relevant qualifications will be an advantage but are not essential. You will be required to demonstrate your aptitude and Training will be provided.
