Electrical Power Engineer Engineering Consultancy Glasgow Or Warrington As a result of ongoing growth an opportunity exists for an Electrical Engineer to support the Electrical Control and Instrumentation teams based in Glasgow and Warrington. As Electrical Power Engineer you will be involved in Electrical power system (Ac Dc) design (offshore and onshore Hv electrical distribution system design and grid code compliance and Electrical power system analysis (Ipsa Amtech and Simpower. You will also be required to use your experience of wind wave tidal generation distribution systems as well as working on rotating plant and transformers and Power electronics (Vsds Ups Spi etc. To succeed as Electrical Power Engineer you will be qualified to degree level in Electrical Engineering or similar and will possess a strong technical background with solid electrical design experience. The ideal candidate would be an established electrical engineer looking to move into project and commercial management whilst remaining in a core technical role. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be familiar with working to the requirements of Iso 90012000. You may also have experience of 17th Edition design. This role requires Sc Clearance so you must be either a British Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 3 years minimum or of another nationality who has been living in the UK continuously for the last 5 years minimum.
