Senior Mechanical Engineer (Cambridge)

Senior Mechanical Engineer 35-45k Immediate Interviews We are expanding our product development and engineering capabilities at our Cambridge office and are looking for a senior Mechanical Engineer. Reporting to the R&D manager the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of new products and improved solutions to existing products. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and proven self starter who can handle the responsibility of turning new ideas into successful products in a small company environment and to have an impact on the success of those products. Key Skills and Responsibilities Degree in Mechanical Engineering with least 10 years experience is required. Experience in design and analysis of precision compliant and flexure devices. Responsible for developing your own concepts design layouts and basic calculations to support design concepts. Work with sales marketing and manufacturing to develop new products and to improve existing products. Excellent communication skills are required. The ability to effectively communicate both orally and through written reports is important. Strong project management skills in managing projects and activities is essential Proficient in 3d Cad preferably SolidWorks
