Database manager (Belfast (Titanic Quarter))

We intend creating the largest community of food drinks professionals that will enable information communication and trade to flow to everyones benefit. Our founders have 12 years experience in this industry. We are a small but growing company. You will be responsible for the way we manage organise store and access our information. Youll have to work closely with our marketing sales team who need to use the data. Much of your job involves modelling and refining our database. This means youll spend a lot of time working with users to find out what information they need to use how frequently what categories they need to split it by and what would make it easy to use. Once youve built the database youll need to test it thoroughly. Your main responsibilities will include improving the effectiveness of the database tools and services ensuring all the data complies with legal regulations making sure the information is protected and backed-up regular reporting to the management team monitoring database performance improving the technology used building new focused databases monitoring data entry procedures and troubleshooting. You will be required to build an accurate user email database. You will combine this position with a role in customer relationship marketing which is a clever application of the database. Requirements. Probably a Graduate in Computer Science Mathematics It or equivalent preferred with a strong academic background or equivalent work experience. Salary Negotiable Package
