Position: Graphic Web Designer (Central London)

Position Graphic Web Designer Contract Permanent Foska.com is a young sports apparel company that specialises in offering great some say quirky designs not seen anywhere else in the market place. We are looking for an all-rounder graphics web designer to maintain and develop the look of our websites and wow our customers with fantastically designed marketing material. It goes without saying that we are looking for someone with flare and imagination. We also require the following key skills Requirements Experience Ability to write standards based semantic Html and Css and modern layouts using tableless design Semantic Html Css coding updating for assigned projects Experience working with JavaScript Jquery MySQL Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Iillustrator A strong understanding of modern web practices to create an efficient user-experience A good understanding of cross-browser issues and their workarounds Experience working with server-side scripting language Php is desirable Good English language skill Good oral and written communications skills Ability to work on own initiative Attention to detail Ability to work to deadlines If you are also good with words and can create copy then that is a big bonus. Responsibilities include Maintenance and updates of the design of websites including building web pages Maintenance of product catalogue for our websites Designing and building of regular email campaigns and other marketing material Assisting in graphic design of Foska.com clothing This position would ideally suit a recent graduate or someone with the relevant skill looking for a first position in the business. But of course we would like to meet anyone who feels they are up to this challenge. Remuneration commensurate with ability with the opportunity to earn extra through bonus scheme.
