About goCarShare We are an early stage start up that helps people travel together and share car journeys put another way were a marketplace for empty car seats using conections through Facebook. We ve already been featured in a number of press articles (here s one from the Telegraph http tgr.ph ifbmdo and another from TechCrunch http bit.ly nsmBfc. We ve worked with over 50 festivals this summer and have some exciting partnership opportunities lined up. We are based in TechHub by Silicon Roundabout we are incredibly excited about what we can achieve we just need someone like you who s full of exciting marketing ideas for this to really take off. About the job Working in an early stage start is hard work so you ll need to be prepared to give it everything. The work that you ll be doing will be diverse but to give you an idea you ll be Devloping a marketing strategy to fast track the growth in users Building upon the goCarShare brand created to date and helping ensure that we keep it fresh and fun Running the social media campaign and keeping on top of new opportunities Going the extra mile to find the story in what we are doing and helping us obtain Pr coverage in diverse areas. Preferred Experience and Skills If you have any of the below that s great but what we are really looking for is proof that you are a doer and that you are super-enthusiastic and the right person to make this happen. Three years plus experience in traditional or digital marketing. Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint Excellent copy writing and all round good communicator Ability to think outside the box and not afraid to think guerilla when needed. A combination of equity and salary is being offered dependent upon experience.
