There are two distinct elements to this role To head up data quality function supporting Gi Data Management Policy to ensure data is kept in as good qualitative state as possible. To act as technology change administration conduit between support and business partners ensuring smooth resolution to any issues encountered. Accountabilities Data Quality Working with Bi development and data mining communities to identify document agree and implement solutions to maintain data quality standards to meet stakeholder requirements Using all tools available trap report and if possible resolve all data quality issues at earliest possible point of data process cycle Work within agreed Data Quality and Data Management policy Host monthly data management forum with all interested parties to present issues raised and solutions deployed as well as discuss future data quality tasks and changes to business process supporting data quality Ensure all levels of management are kept aware of forthcoming changes to data sources supplying data to Single Point of Truth Technology Support Administer data and technology of Bi environment identifying and deploying change on timely basis to ensure continuity of Bi delivery to business stakeholders Working closely with both central and local support and development teams to maintain performance and availability of Bi capability to business users acting swiftly to restore outages as they arise Liaising with all parts of support community ensure all issues and changes relating to Sas environment are given proper focus to bring them to swift and successful conclusion Take ownership on behalf of Gi any development issues encountered ensuring that they have been raised with Gi It Delivery Manager Raise and manage to solution any production impacts with Is Production Service Manager Document all solutions to issues encountered to ensure we have library of issues and solution to support any future issues encountered Document and perform all basic Sas administration duties to ensure governance remains in place around Sas environment Security Ensure all data security and Dpa regulations are maintained and adhered to at all times in all changes and developments Workload Priority Management Ensure all work is registered and priorities with sufficient communication of expected timescale to all customers Relationship Management Build good understanding of different business areas and develop sound relationships with all support teams within company Communicate effectively and sufficiently to keep all customers informed on activities undertaken in meeting their requirements Candidate Requirements Working towards or having attained relevant data modelling qualifications Ability to demonstrate data quality capabilities using combination of Data Flux and Sas Di development software Working toward or having attained Sas Administrator Qualifications dfPower Studio v7.1 and beyond Sas 9.1.3 and beyond Di Development Studio Web Report Studio Sas Management console Sas Enterprise Guide Relational database Olap structures Xml structures and methodologies Qualifications Relevant Data Quality and Sas Administration Qualifications Specific Experie
