It Support Engineer (Central Birmingham)

Salary 18-24K depending upon experience Please note No Agencies The ideal candidate will already be an Mcp qualified engineer or working towards certification. You will have at least 2 years experience of It support ideally having previously worked for another It support company. You should be a polite and positive individual with excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn quickly. You need to demonstrate a keen interest in It and that you are a highly self-motivated individual with a can do attitude. You need to demonstrate that you have higher than average problem solving skills. You will be working for a small team and therefore you will immediately become an integral part of that team. Your duties would include Providing end-user support to our customers and will be expected to go on site as and when requested. Monitoring end-user systems for problems and raising faults via our helpdesk system Creating articles for our in-house knowledge base Occasional small network cabling jobs Workstation and Router support Desktop Application support Ensuring the health of customer backups You will need a clean driving license and your own means of transport.
