Finance Director (Weybridge)

Our client has over 15 years experience in the telecoms industry. They provide a full and bespoke range of telecommunications solutions to business and corporate customers. A growing company the business has a turnover of approximately £20 million serving a diverse client base with mobile and fixed line telecoms solutions. The Finance Director will be the third person in the core management team working directly with both the Managing Director and Operations Director to run the business. This is a very strategically important role offering a range of excellent development opportunities for the right person. The ideal Finance Director Our client is looking for a qualified exceptionally commercial dynamic experienced professional keen to progress and take on the challenging role of heading up the finance function. The role is incredibly varied and would suit someone who relished change and was happy working at both a strategic and operational level. Ideally immediately available their ideal candidate would be self motivated with a hunger for success and a proven ability to manage each different element of the role. They would have experience managing people and be comfortable acting as the Hr lead within the business. Experience within the telecoms sector would be an advantage but is not essential. Core responsibilities Leadership of the finance team and finance function to ensure proper and proactive management of company finances Driving the strategic direction for the company by working alongside other key stakeholders Assisting with mergers and acquisitions and conducting due diligence investigations Designing and streamlining the finance infrastructure including systems processes and responsibility for driving new business models and initiatives Undertaking ongoing reviews of business processes and controls Controlling business liquidity and cash flow Supporting the Md in driving new business models Supporting the commercial team in terms of pricing wholesale models and profitability Producing management accounts Kpis and Board Pack for Board meeting Managing the Audit process Overseeing the credit and collections department Managing the reporting relationship with the bank Additional responsibilities Supporting line managers with Hr aspects of the business including employment contracts staff induction disciplinary procedures and other policies Managing all supplier contracts Managing all staff benefits Data Protection and Health and Safety processes Company Secretarial duties If you are interested in finding out more please apply online stating your current salary and notice period in your covering letter.
