We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help build develop maintain and manage areas of our UK website. Youll be working alongside a terrific team based on the banks of the river in Richmond. Essential requirements Excellent knowledge of advanced Html Css and JavaScript Highly familiar with the jquery library and plug-ins The ability to build a page from a mock-up using a combination of style sheets scripts and plug-ins and to test cross-browser compatibility Excellent knowledge of Dreamweaver Cs3 or above the ability to hand code a tremendous advantage A proven ability to create a website from scratch including design structure layout and maintenance Working knowledge of design software packages including Photoshop Advanced Ftp skills Ability to learn quickly and adapt new web technologies to improve the website and to add new functionality A desire to expand your knowledge of web design and be a team player in a fast moving financial services company Preferred requirements Experience of liaising with agencies or third parties Experience of working from a brief An understanding of user interface and user experience design Understand W3C guidelines Be familiar with designing pages with accessibility in mind Experience with coding emails Working knowledge of Xml files and experience with Xslt a plus Knowledge of Ajax Flash Php Asp an advantage Experience of integrating plug-ins from popular websites such as Facebook Twitter YouTube Google etc. an advantage General requirements Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage stressful situations well and to juggle multiple challenges at once Creative and adaptable A fantastic eye for detail What we offer A paid internship at a rapidly expanding company Travel expenses covered Initial six month contract with potential for expansion Fantastic riverside location in Richmond Immediate start Please send your Cv with links to any sites you have developed created to pabennett paypal.com
