Temporary Deputy Manager Needed for an Afterschool Club (London North)

I am looking for someone to become a Deputy Manager of an Afterschool club in Haringey The Manager of this established Afterschool Club is full of enthusiasm and is dedicated to progressing the Club and taking it forward. She fully supports her staffing team offering further progression extra training and extra responsibilities within the Setting. In return she works with committed Early Years Practitioners that all work towards the same thing to provide the best high quality childcare and Education. It is an exciting time at the Setting with positive changes being put into place as well as new equipment and resources being purchased. The Afterschool Club is set in lovely grounds with an excellent outdoor area they also benefit from a large park close by. The rooms are bright and airy and all lead out to the garden. The children s work is proudly displayed around the setting which gives it a warm welcoming feel. You will manage a team of 3 other staff and be responsible for the overall care of 20 children. You must have room management experience and be competent in planning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will oversee the planning and ensure observations assessments evaluations and reports are completed and kept up to date. The Manager is looking for someone who is dynamic enthusiastic committed and forward thinking. You will be a sound role model for the children in your care as well as your other team members. You will take part in monthly Manager meetings with the senior management team and your ideas and suggestions for Setting progression will be listened to. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to go in and flourish and make your mark.
