September 2011 Start Dynamic Head Teacher Well Resourced Classrooms Good Facilities Are you someone who can hit the ground running in a large Primary School teaching a class of 29 pupils the Year 1 syllabus? Can you get the best out of mixed ability groups who need a creative and stimulating environment in which to learn? My client is seeking a creative dynamic and intuitive Year 1 teacher to join their school from September 2011 for maternity cover initially for one term. The School s most recent Ofsted said that the school was satisfactory with good features and praised the Senior Management Team and the general standards of teaching and pastoral care within the school. Upon arrival at the school it becomes immediately clear that the staff and pupils have really bought into the warm welcoming community ethos of the school and are happy within the environment. There are some lively pupils in the class but policies are in place to help and they are genuinely adhered to. Overall as a teaching experience the school offers few issues for those who have a creative approach to lessons and a genuine desire to bring out the best in individuals. Planning and preparation would be done as a team with two parallel teachers who have been at the school for a while now and have been responsible for a broad and well structured curriculum.
