A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Microsoft Windows Systems Administrator to join our company looking after critical client infrastructures. You ll provide daily support and administration of all Windows Systems and projects under our management as well as get involved in in-house and client project work. Technical Skills Required Build configuration and support Microsoft Windows 2003 2008 Servers Implementation Support Microsoft Exchange 2003 2007 2010 (essential) Configuration of monitoring and backup tools (Windows server backup Symantec Backup Exec tools Backup Assist) Hardware and Software Raid Configurations Build server components memory disk controller etc. Must have 2 years experience with Microsoft Windows Servers and Microsoft Exchange Mail System You should be able to demonstrate the ability to support desktops and laptops running Windows Xp Lan Dsl and general networking. Knowledge of Windows 2003 8 Network infrastructure Active Directory (Mcdst would be advantage but not essential) Experience with Office applications especially Outlook 2003 2007 2010 maintenance and administration Good understanding of networks Internet and Internet technologies and how they work. Knowledge of Mac Os will be an advantage. Cctv installation and troubleshooting will be an advantage. General Open minded with ability to develop relationship with a multifunctional and multicultural team Excellent problem solving skills. Logical and analytical approach to fault finding Strong technical communication and documentation skills Must be self-motivated and able to manage their own time and priorities Good communication skills.
