Account Executive (Edinburgh)

Responsible to Two Company Directors Hours Full Time 37.5 hours a week Salary Ote £20280 £12675 basic salary 60 target linked bonus paid monthly Other benefits Company mobile laptop and fuel allowance Holidays 20 days Description of role The principal duties of the Account Executive are Developing relationships with potential new clients Proactively seeking and researching new business opportunities Meeting clients to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job Handling existing accounts and developing solid business relationships with clients through regular and proactive contact Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients on a range of marketing support services including websites branding packs brochures flyers literature exhibition materials marketing plans Working as part of a team with Company Directors Graphic Designers Web Programmers Suppliers Printers and briefing all parties clearly and succinctly on client requirements Corresponding and liaising with new clients to present creative work and also to feedback amends to the relevant team members Ensuring that client deadlines are met Responding to new enquiries generated by company marketing activity Keeping Company Directors regularly updated on progress and feeding back market developments including preparation of a monthly activity report Monitoring competitor activity Personal Specification A graduate looking for a first step on to the career ladder or a graduate in another discipline looking to get into the marketing industry Confident ambitious and energetic with a persuasive manner The ability to work on own initiative Self motivated disciplined and results-focused individual Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines Excellent It skills Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team Excellent customer service and communication skills A positive attitude and proactive approach to solving problems Must have a full driving licence and use of own car for the purpose of client visits Personal development and training Ongoing training and development to enhance core skills and involvement in projects out of the job description where appropriate.
