Talented Product Designer 30k 40k Ote (Fulham)

Flashbay Ltd. is a B2B supplier of logo customized Usb flash drives and Mp3 players. We manufacture these products in our fully owned factory in Shenzhen China and maintain our global sales offices in Fulham London UK and Mountain View California Usa. Our target markets are the promotional and training sectors where Usb flash drives and Mp3 Players have become popular information distribution tools. Our products are also increasingly utilised by small and medium sized businesses whose aim is to go paperless with their filing and record keeping. As an initial step to rise above the competition Flashbay Ltd. is developing its own in-house product development capability. We wish to recruit a talented product designer with extensive knowledge and a creative mind. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical engineering skills and will be responsible for developing new designs for our Usb flash drive and Mp3 Mp4 player range. Existing product lines will also need to be scrutinised and optimised where appropriate. Job Summary The role will focus on the design and development of new products. You will serve as a bridge between product development and customer voices by building new ideas based on prior investigations to satisfy market needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products adhere to acceptable engineering practices and compliance regulations. You will be working in a team of two. Qualifications Bsc or Beng in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design or is essential. Experience in Solidworks is required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are also required. Experience in a similar field is preferred but all suitable candidates are welcome to apply. Flashbay Ltd. is offering £30k to £40k Ote depending on experience for this challenging and rewarding role.
