Domestic Plumber and Gas Service Engineer (Huddersfield)

Domestic Plumber and Gas Service Engineer 21000 23000 Covering North England A full time plumber and gas service engineer is required to join a nationwide residential property management company. You ll be a time served qualified Gas Safe Registered gas service engineer and plumber and will be required to perform Cp12 landlord gas certification general servicing maintenance and installation of domestic gas appliances in accordance with relevant standards as well as dealing with general plumbing duties. It is anticipated that you will primarily cover areas in the North including Yorkshire Lancashire Manchester Merseyside. Travel further afield may also be required from time to time. Main Duties Domestic Plumber and Gas Service Engineer Reporting to the Area Director Operations Director the Gas Engineer will be required to respond to reactive maintenance and repairs and Carry out scheduled Cp12 certification and associated maintenance and repair works at properties under our management Service customer boilers where instructed Attend boiler breakdowns and other emergency works as required Carry out boiler and entire heating water installations as required first preparing time parts quotations where required Undertake the provision of Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (Epcs Training Provided if required Complete and electronically store all gas safety and associated paperwork Administer company documentation and systems as required. Key Skills and Experience Domestic Plumber and Gas Service Engineer Previous experience of Gas Safe (Cp12) certification Significant demonstrable gas and plumbing experience and a current working knowledge of domestic gas appliances Be in possession of relevant current qualifications and registrations licenses for domestic gas appliances and plumbing Hold a minimum of Nvq Level 3 in Plumbing Good awareness of Health and Safety within the gas service industry Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet time deadlines Be able to work effectively on your own Results driven Attention to detail is essential Computer Literacy required with your own access to the internet Professionally presented and friendly Dea qualifications in Domestic Energy Assessment and experience of producing Epcs desirable.
