They supply spares to companies public bodies and end users throughout the UK and Europe. They are well established and well known within their market predominantly supplying to maintenance companies and the education sector. As part of their growth plans we are recruiting a Technical Manager who has the technical knowledge behind It Hardware to bring some new skills to the business. Job role Managing the Warehouse To improve and maintain quality leads in warehouse and meet targets managing the warehouse team of 4 in terms of dealing with stock coming into warehouse ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse. Set up a repairs department This is a new venture that my client wishes to incorporate into their business following a settling in period of 3-6 months. It will be your responsibility to work with existing staff and train them where necessary set up the Repair Centre in terms of rates and prices profit margins etc educate existing customers on the repair centre and work with your team to make it a success. Your role will be very much on the strategic side in terms of setting up ensure its smooth running managing the team etc. The Repair Centre will look to work with their current corporate and education markets to open up a new revenue stream. Technically qualified to provide support to sales team and staff in warehouse. Your technical knowledge will enable you to support the sales team and train the warehouse team when the Repair Centre is up and running. This is a hands on role aswell as a Management role. They have a small team so adapting and getting stuck in where required is essential.
