Mot Tester Mechanic (Wigan)

Provide an efficient and effective service to our customers both internal and external maintaining a high level of workmanship in relation to Mot and general servicing and repairs ensuring that the work is carried out in line with company and ministry procedures 1. Carry out Mot tests completing service certification adhering to Vosa requirements. 2. To maintain accurate documentation in line with company procedures job cards Qc log invoicing when required. 3. Perform Mot repairs when required. 4. Providing quality workmanship at all times. 5. Seeking advice and guidance where necessary. 6. Follow company health and safety policies. Person Specification Must have class 4 5 7 Mot Vosa active smart card. Full UK driving licence essential. City Guilds Level 3 or Nvq in relevant subject. Knowledge or Mot test procedures and legislation. Ambitious and committed to personal development. Able to work independently. Able to work as part of a team. Strong communications skills and ability to interact with people at all levels a good telephone manner is essential when liasing with customers. Strong written skills in order to manage own administration work. Undertake work in a orderly manner. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
