Skilled Fabricator Welder (West Sussex)

A new challenging position has arisen for a skilled Fabricator Welder located in West Sussex. This position is a 3 month contract which could be extended or eventually turn into a permanent position for the right candidate. As Skilled Fabricator Welder you will Fabricate and Weld in accordance with design requirements detailed in manufacturing drawings To identify materials and fabrication processes and use appropriate cutting forming and welding processes to produce required designs for the manufacture of pressure vessels Responsible for the manufacturing products to the design requirements Provide manufacturing support to the drawing office and engineering team when required Undertake maintenance of equipment as part of company s productive maintenance programme To read Manufacturing drawings in order to establish material and process requirements. Where appropriate to select correct materials from stock. Mark out components and set up machinery as required. Select appropriate tooling for the job. Perform pressure testing of products as required. Comply with the Company Policy on Health and Safety. Candidate requirements Be proficient in the basic skills of Arc Mig and Tig Welding and the use of the Guillotine Press Saws and Drills. This role may involve some heavy lifting. Safety Boots must be worn at all times.
