Reporting to the Engineering Manager the main responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer will be for continuous improvement of processes and site layout. You will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of standard operation processes and Fmea s. With the involvement of Team Leaders Manufacturing Team Members you will work on improvements in line with productivity and layouts. You will attend and participate in communication activities team briefs quarterly presentations and Kaizen workshops in addition to any other duties normally encompassed with manufacturing engineering. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level in an engineering discipline or equivalent with a proven track record in a similar role and be knowledgeable of the principles and tools of lean manufacturing and time and motion study. With your interpersonal influential skills you will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels both internal and external to reach team goals and business objectives.
