Engineering Technician (Bristol, South West)

We are currently looking for an Engineering Technician for a well established company based in Newent Gloucestershire. The company designs and manufactures oil bypass filters and level gauge products and supplies them to a wide range of industries throughout the World. The Role Due to significant growth our client are looking to strengthen their Engineering team the successful candidate will assist in the production testing and development of projects within the company and will be expected to -assist in design test and development of Company products -design and project manage Filtration systems tospecific customer specification -establish and develop production techniques to assist in manufacture -provide back up assistance for sales and service of company products -be involved with Health and Safety issues and Quality Assurance The candidate -should be qualified to at least Hnc level in Mechanical Engineering (or the equivalent have basic Cad experience including drafting skills (our client use a simple 2d Turbo Cad and full training will be provided knowledge of electrical hydraulic circuits would be of a beneficial -should have good communication skills be a strong team player and have a hands on approach The package -This is a temp to perm opportunity with a starting hourly rate of £10 12 per hour dependent on experience -This vacancy offers a great opportunity to form a long term career with great progression opportunities within a growing company.
