Technical Analyst (Edinburgh)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding service organisation as a Technical Analyst as part of their on-going growth strategy. You will have an exceptionally strong academic background and hold a relevant degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering. You will have gained some experience in a relevant industry environment and be ready to launch into the next step of your career. This role will involve managing customer projects from a range of technology-based organisations. The main purpose of the role is to work with clients in identifying their current R D strategy and prepare a relevant report detailing their current activities and identifying opportunities for commercial savings. This role is highly client facing and you will be expected to liaise closely with senior personnel within the customer sites therefore you must have excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrable ability to actively listen and respond positively to client needs. You must also have strong technical skills within your chosen field as you will be analysing client site activities from a detailed engineering perspective. You will be responsible for producing and refining reports that concisely and articulately summarise clients projects therefore you must have excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant Electronic or Mechanical Engineering based subject coupled with some industry experience in your specialist discipline. You will have an ability to quickly analyse and summarise complex situations be detail orientated and with excellent oral and written communication skills.
