My client is an innovative engineering contractor based in Perth who have successfully undertaken projects for clients in the Usa UK Norway South East Asia New Zealand and Australia. They are a market leader in the provision of front end and detailed engineering onshore and offshore facilities installation and construction operations support and custom designed equipment. Due to various projects taking off they require a Senior Project Manager for their artificial lift equipment design team. You will lead a team of Project Engineers and Service technicians delivering mechanical equipment products to clients in the global oil and gas industry. By partnering with the Business Development and Innovations functions you will develop further market share with existing products and assume responsibility for delivering new products as they are developed. You will also manage improvements and modifications to existing equipment products and customize their designs according to client needs. In addition you will be challenged by involvement in a diverse range of projects for major domestic and global oil and gas clients. Required Experience Degree in mechanical engineering 10 years experience in oil gas (pref drill rigs and shipyards) Design experience in hydraulics control systems mechanical components lifting systems Knowledge of jack-up semi-submersible rigs Experience with drilling equipment and operations Excellent project management skills experience Excellent communication and people skills Business development experience proposals tendering commercial acumen Work on site occasionally Examples of Equipment Passive heave compensators Riser tensioning systems Riser load monitoring systems Tree skidding handling systems Conductor tensioning units Conductor tensioning control units Top tensioning units Variable Position (X-Y) Conductor Tension Deck Finger Boards Fall Arrestors Safe rider man riding winch Floatover system Riser load monitoring system flowline deployment systems Lars Jacket upending and installation equipment.
