Production Quality Supervisor £22K Doncaster (Doncaster)

Our client based in Doncaster is leading manufacturer of Fmcg products they are looking to recruit a production quality supervisor on a permanent basis the ideal candidate would drive quality improvements from within the company through the systematic identification and elimination of both process defects and variation using problem solving and statistical analysis techniques. You will also support the production organisation in achieving right first time every time delivery performance. The succesful candidate will Identify through a process of systematic working any concerns within the production area that are preventing key objectives been achieved use standardised 8d approach to contain and close any concerns found. Give advice and technical support to production supervision technical services and customer on all aspects relating to component manufacture and process quality. Give full commitment and support for training communications health and safety housekeeping and personal discipline Ensure minimum disruption to production flow caused by process quality problems with dimensional and technical evaluation where necessary. Monitor shop floor build on all products analyse quality problems associated with materials processes and make recommendations to Production Manager. Receive all problems on concern reports log file and liaise with all relevant departments including customer until a satisfactory conclusion is reached. To apply for this role you will have the following Hnd Degree qualified in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering Desirable) Lean Six Sigma Essential) Strong It skills Desirable) Good Analytical and practical problem solving ability Essential) Good communications and inter-personal skills Essential) 2 years previous relative experience in a similar environment (Essential) Experience in Problem Solving especially 8d problem reporting knowledge of Spcs lean manufacturing and six sigma This is a permanent role with a salary of £22K basic plus benefits.
