Implementation specialist with web development and application skills (St Albans, Hemel Hempstead)

Consumer Identity and Access Management Implementation Specialist Company Avoco Secure Ltd Location London ideally but can work anywhere in the UK. Must be willing to be based at and travel to client sites throughout the UK and abroad Remuneration circa £35000 Job Type Permanent 6 month initial contract leading to permanent Avoco Secure are a fast growing company specialising in state of the art consumer identity solutions. We are a distributed workforce with home based workers who are expected to travel mainly in the UK but often abroad. Key features of the role Successful applicants will be project based and will be expected to work both as second line support from their home office as well as on-site at customer bases. What were looking for We are looking for a dedicated implementation specialist ideally with some development skills. The individual should have a good understanding of web technologies such as Php and JavaScript. The individual will support both the implementation of our identity products to customers and the creation of prototypes to demonstrate the software s capabilities. We need someone who can work autonomously and with personal discipline to get the job done. You will need to understand the requirements of working in a distributed team and the challenges that presents. Key responsibilities Working with our Implementation Specialist to deliver solutions to customers Debugging of installed software Testing of new product versions Creation of prototype installations for demonstration purposes May need to do some customer training from time to time Required skills qualifications and experience Implementation will include installation of Php applications onto windows servers running server 2003 and server 2008 as well as Linux Unix environments. Experience is required in testing and debugging Php applications and collecting information on faults. Html and JavaScript knowledge are required A prospect should be able to read debug make changes to Php Html and JavaScript files. Full development skills in Html JavaScript and Php would be useful but are not absolutely required. Must be good communicator Other Useful Skills Knowledge Windows nix servers Iis Apache MySQL MsSQL Jquery Amazon EC2 web services Soap Ideally 3 years experience of software installation or development of Php applications or similar. Developer has to be happy to work home office but will be required to travel to aid with the implementation of software.
