Customer Services with Shipping Experience (London)

Our Prestigious client based in Central London is looking for an experienced Shipping Customer Support -Person to work in their London Offices. Duties include- To Receive and action customer shipping instructions (Sli) to comply with Company processes and procedures and produce job file. Liaise with overseas station agents as necessary to ensure shipment can be made in line with Company and customer requirements. Identify potential solution to business issues and escalate as necessary. Select appropriate shipping routes to maximise efficiency and security using consolidations as appropriate. Provide accurate and timely export and domestic quote to customers. Make airline bookings and cut documents including the completion of export entries and generation of the correct documents to comply with destination customs regimes. Liaise with customers to ensure that the required commercial invoices and any other relevant documentation are available to meet shipping deadlines. Liaise with the Sdm s Control Room Operators vault staff and overseas stations to ensure shipment collected and packaged secured as per Company procedures and to ensure that shipments are ready to meet agreed routings. Generate shipping pre-advises and notifications as per Company procedures. Maintain Edi (Electronic Data Interchange) system to ensure that all operations and commercial requirements have been met to customer s satisfaction. Candidates must have B to B experience and have a fully traceable work history
