In this newly created Service Delivery Manager role you will engage with existing and potential new clients to ensure the successful delivery of all Professional Service Projects. Directly manage all aspects of assigned client project(s) providing overall leadership and quality management Responsibility for ensuring overall client project satisfaction and managing client expectations Develop project plans and project risk management strategies Responsible for executing profitable projects Own the creation and delivery of proposals and Sows Plan resource requirements manage people resource pipeline Manage to outcomes and keep projects on time and budget Proven capability to manage mentor motivate and develop a multi-country services team to best practice standards Work with sales to support the development of deal specific bids and helping to close business Manage systems implementation tasks for consulting project activities Manage client project requirements and estimates scope and costs of client assignment Lead team in providing application and technical solutions for a project Assist in assigning work coordinating work assignments and training other team members Manage complex software implementations to meet budget schedule and quality goals Working at Elastic Path can provide you with an opportunity to see some great parts of the world while you re providing brilliant support to our customers. The Account Executive will travel approximately 25 50 of the time and we want to be sure you are more than comfortable with that heck we bet it even excites you What kind of background is required to thrive in this position? Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with an interest in working in a fun fast paced environment Experience in managing teams to deliver software projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies Experience creating and delivering on proposals and Sows Takes initiative in handling multiple demands by demonstrating flexibility for optimum customer satisfaction Clearly communicates in oral and in written communication listens responds and keeps others informed Works collaboratively within teams and contributes to group outcomes Understands complex strategic concepts and relationships by analysing problems from different points of view. Applies broad knowledge and experience to address critical issues Demonstrates knowledge of consulting methods tools and techniques to ensure that expertise is maximized Demonstrates knowledge of and sensitivity to legal considerations such as specific terminology ownership intellectual property consultants rights and other legal protections Inspires customer confidence through professional presence and self-confidence Bragging rights Founded in 2000 Elastic Path is privately held and continues to grow dramatically.
