Web Designer Vacancy at Touch Due to a number of exciting new client wins we have a vacancy for a web designer to join our team. We are looking for a talented web designer with around two years commercial experience to join our busy and growing agency. The successful candidate will possess a real passion for web design have significant web experience and expert skills with html authoring software and Adobe Photoshop together with a good understanding of accessibility guidelines and search engine optimisation. About the Role Working within a small team you will be responsible for delivering innovative and exciting website e-commerce and online marketing projects for our diverse clients. The role involves designing and developing web functionality and user interfaces as well as back end coding. Although the role requires a high level of technical understanding proven design and creativity skills are equally important. Based in our modern offices in Blackburn Lancashire this full time role will involve managing multiple clients at once and the work demands creative flair up-to-date knowledge of software and a commercial approach to timescales costs and deadlines. A strong background in producing good quality stylish and highly usable websites and web application interfaces is required. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills with the ability to deliver solutions and code that are robust flexible and scalable. Being able to design build and update existing sites to given specifications will be crucial.
