A reputable Global bank based in the city of London are seeking a Cantonese speaking Head of Business Development to cultivate any new business opportunities and bring in revenue for the Bank. Duties To develop new business opportunity and contacts To build and maintain close business relationship with the designated customers with a view to fulfil the know your customer requirement To submit customers credit facility proposal in a timely manner and coordinate the facility drawdown process with all concerned parties To establish good working relationship with other counterparties intermediaries eg broker solicitor accountant valuer and overseas colleagues etc To prepare regular credit reviews on customers account To monitor and control designated accounts irregular performance in accordance to the banks guideline To keep abreast with the current banking regulation. Key Knowledge Successful candidates will have good knowledge of Banking Real Estate of the UK market The banks deposit and loan products The banks lending criteria and Credit Manual The banks business practice according to the published customer agreement The banks Regulated Mortgage guideline The banks Money Laundering guideline The banks Advertising and Business Promotion Policy General banking law and regulation Current market practice and latest products.
