Hedge Fund Database Analyst (West London)

We are a hedge fund advisory business looking for a keen recent graduate with good numeracy It skills to train as a database analyst. Advanced knowledge of Matlab will be considered a distinct advantage. To begin with the role will be to update and use a database to generate reports for our hedge fund analysts and clients. On the job training will be provided. It is possible that as their experience grows the person would be trained to analyze that data as well as to identify and recommend suitable hedge fund and other investments. However this would depend on the person. An interest in the financial markets and or hedge funds is a plus as well as the ability to work under pressure both diligently and pro-actively.
