Housing Advisor Driver (Ref Hr312) Fixed Term Contract until the 29th December 2011 Up to £17000 per annum depending on skills and experience 37 hours a week Based from Portishead with frequent travel around the North Somerset area We currently have a requirement for a full-time Housing Advisor Driver to join our Area Services Team until the end of December 2011. The position involves delivering a housing advisory service to our tenants around the North Somerset area from a mobile office vehicle. You will act as an ambassador for the organisation by providing an effective meet and greet service to our customers which includes providing general advice on a range of housing issues. You will get involved in inspections associated with the management of tenancies and associated land when required as well as maintaining housing related records and statistics. You will also be responsible for carrying out regular checks and procedures associated with the safe and lawful operation of the vehicle and its equipment. This includes organising servicing and maintenance for the vehicle as required. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. The ability to organise and prioritise tasks whilst working independently is also essential. Previous experience of working within a housing or community related role with customer facing duties would be highly desirable. You will need to have a category C1 driving licence.
