Volunteer and Parent Coordinator at friendly charity (Kings Cross Islington)

The Parent House is a small successful charity that has been running for 11 years. In supporting parents and carers in Islington we provide accredited training 11 support registered cr che volunteering opportunities and mentoring support. We are in the process of development and would like to recruit a new member of staff to join our longstanding team. We hope to appoint an individual with relevant experience and skills to carry out the following position Volunteer and Parent Coordinator £25515 Term time only pro rata 4 days a week 9 month contract Continuation dependant on fundraising) We are looking for someone with substantial experience in working with parents and managing volunteers. This person will also manage the Islington Mentoring Programme. This post is part funded by Islington Giving. We are looking for creative applicants with the ability to work on their own initiative and to be part of a small team.
